Job Title: Service Engineer-Highly Radioactive Imaging equipment

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Salary: Decent hike from present salary

Total Openings: 4 Nos.

Salary: Up to 45,000/month



A Service Engineer for highly radioactive imaging equipment plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing diagnostic imaging devices such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound systems. 

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

    • Install, calibrate, and commission Highly Radioactive Imaging equipment at customer sites.

    • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure the equipment operates at peak performance.

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Highly Radioactive Imaging (CT, MRI, CATH LAB) systems, providing timely and effective solutions.

    • Repair and replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption for customers.

    • Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment.

    • Maintain detailed service records, including reports on maintenance, repairs, and parts used.

    • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to address customer inquiries and technical concerns.

    • Stay updated on industry advancements, technical standards, and regulatory requirements related to Highly Radioactive Imaging equipment.

    • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures while working with high and radiology systems.

    • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary components.


    PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a service engineer in the medical imaging industry. Highly Radioactive Imaging division

    - Hands-on experience with Highly Radioactive Imaging equipment is highly preferred.

    - Trained GE CT or MRI.

    - Siemens CT or MRI or Cath lab

    - Philips Cath lab or CT or MRI

    • Proven experience as a service engineer in the medical imaging industry.

    • In-depth knowledge of Highly Radioactive Imaging systems and their technical specifications.

    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests efficiently.

    • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards related to highly radioactive materials.

    • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
