Position: VP Sales– Biomedical Equipment

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports to: Managing Director

Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree

Experience: 14+ years in sales leadership within the biomedical equipment industry

Salary: Up to 18lpa

Job Summary:

The VP Sales is responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving business growth for biomedical equipment. The role involves managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and distributors.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Business Growth:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new markets, business opportunities, and potential partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Manage the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Set team sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, hospitals, and distributors.

Product & Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on biomedical equipment advancements and industry trends.
  • Train the sales team on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Operational & Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on pricing, payment terms, and revenue forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.


Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.
