Min. 5 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance management role within the NBFC sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Management: Oversee all accounting transactions, including day-to-day activities like ledger maintenance and reconciliation. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to prepare accurate financial statements.
• RBI and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict observance of all statutory and regulatory requirements within the financial services framework. This includes operational compliance specific to Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) activities, managing RBI compliances, and ensuring timely submission of all required regulatory returns.
• Taxation and Statutory Filings: Manage compliance with all taxation requirements, including timely payments and accurate filing of GST and Income Tax returns. Oversee statutory audits and account finalization processes.
• Operational Leadership: Coordinate the smooth functioning of payments systems and banking channels. Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts team and management regarding financial data and reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance financial controls, and improve efficiency across accounting and compliance functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance management role within the NBFC sector.
• M.Com qualified (Master of Commerce) is required; additional professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and operational knowledge of financial services.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with strong leadership capabilities.
