We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting, finance & compliance operations for a jewellery manufacturing unit across Thrissur and Kozhikode. 

Position: Accounts Manager

Job Location: Thrissur

Qualification: CA Inter OR M.Com

Experience: Min 2-3 yrs in accounts/finance, preferably in jewellery manufacturing - gold/diamond. 

Budget: As per industry standards. Decent hike from present salary.

Interview mode: Face to face at Thrissur office

Key Responsibilities:

Books & Finalization: Maintain day books, ledgers, trial balance. Lead monthly/quarterly/yearly closing & P&L, Balance Sheet preparation

Inventory & Costing: Monitor gold/diamond stock, job-work, wastage, purity reconciliation. Product costing & margin analysis.

Tax & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax filings. Liaise with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities

Banking & Payments: Manage vendor payments, bank reconciliations, LC/BG, gold metal loans if applicable

Reporting: MIS reports for management, cash flow, receivables/payables, branch-wise profitability

Team Handling: Supervise accounts executives at Thrissur & Kozhikode units. Periodic travel to Kozhikode

ERP/Tally: Ensure accurate entries in Tally Prime/ERP. Implement controls & SOPs

Requirements:

Qualification: CA Inter OR M.Com Experience: Min 2-3 yrs in accounts/finance, preferably in jewellery manufacturing - gold/diamond

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, inventory valuation, and jewellery-specific accounting

Hands-on with Tally Prime, MS Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables

Familiar with gold metal loan, job-work accounting, Karat/Purity calculations - big plus

Willing to travel between Thrissur & Kozhikode as needed
