Position: Regional Manager (Financial Services)
Location-Kannur
Handle Kannur and Kasargod region
Interview mode -f2f at Calicut or Thrissur
Salary: Up to 18lpa
About the Role:
The Regional Manager plays a critical role in driving
business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and overseeing the
performance of multiple branches and franchisees within their assigned region
.The position focuses on implementing strategic initiatives, fostering a
culture of high performance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering
superior customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Financial Growth
- Strategy & Revenue: Devise and execute
short- and medium-term strategies to achieve targeted revenue and profit
goals within the region
- Profitability: Drive customer
acquisition, retention, product mix refinement, and
cross-selling/up-selling across branches and franchisees
- Performance Targets: Meet specific regional
benchmarks measured by the corporate "Performance Index"
- Market Engagement: Organize investor
meets, client events, and social activities to build local relationships
and secure feedback
2. Operations & Branch Administration
- Expansion: Partner with Branch
Heads on market research, feasibility studies, vendor negotiations, and
joint site visits for potential branch expansions
- Reporting: Evaluate weekly
performance reports from Branch Heads and sales personnel to compile
consolidated updates for the State Head
- Operational Quality: Oversee branch service
standards, adhere to strict office timings, and manage smooth managerial
handovers during transitions
- Grievance & Wealth
Management:
Resolve client grievances per the operations manual and ensure
high-quality market recommendations to grow client wealth
- Regulatory Adherence: Enforce strict
compliance with Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations and
complete all compliance filings on time
- Documentation: Verify that mandatory
licenses, certificates, and statutory registers are properly maintained
and visible on branch notice boards
- Risk & Digital
Hygiene:
Monitor client positions to mitigate transaction errors and enforce strict
compliance with Information Security Systems (ISS) guidelines
3. Team Leadership & People Management
- Talent Development: Oversee staff
recruitment, onboarding, product training, and soft skills development in
collaboration with Branch and Product Heads
- Retention: Conduct quarterly
face-to-face reviews and business meetings to map out career growth plans
and address internal staff grievances

- Experience: 8–10 years of
professional experience specifically within the financial services sector
Technical Skills
- Thorough understanding
of capital markets, financial products, and industry processes
- Strong analytical,

- Biliteracy: Must be
articulate and fluent in both English and the regional local language
(both written and verbal)
