For a leading RBI-authorized NBFC for their branches across Kerala is looking for:

Position: Assistant Branch Manager (Gold loan & Forex Operations)

Location: Chengannur, Kilimanoor, Ranni, Pathanamthitta, Pothencode, Kottarakara, Nadapuram, Perambra, North Paravoor

Experience: Candidates must have 2 to 6+ years in banking or NBFC retail asset sales

Gender: - Male or Female

Salary: Up to 4lpa + Incentives

Qualification: Graduation (any)

Job Summary:

An Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in driving local business growth, overseeing day-to-day retail operations, and supervising the branch team. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Target Achievement

• Loan Portfolio Growth: Lead the sales team to secure new business in Gold Loans, Personal Loans, Micro Housing, and Business Loans.
• Cross-Selling: Promote allied financial products including Foreign Exchange (Forex), money remittance, mutual funds, and insurance.
• Channel Partner Management: Build and maintain local networks with Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and local referral partners.

2. Branch Operations & Turnaround Time (TAT)

• Operational Supervision: Oversee daily counter activities, verify high-value cash transactions, and crosscheck end-of-day balances.
• Disbursement Control: Ensure accurate customer documentation and fast-track processing times (TAT) for asset products.
• Acting Leadership: Assume full operational charge of the branch when the Branch Manager is absent.

3. Risk Management & Portfolio Health

• NPA Control: Monitor outstanding loans closely and lead recovery efforts to minimize Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).
• Compliance Checks: Enforce strict RBI compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, and thorough KYC verifications.
• Audit Readiness: Review branch ledgers and physical security setups to remain fully prepared for internal audits.

4. Team Leadership & Coaching

• Performance Tracking: Set clear daily milestones for loan executives and branch telecallers while providing regular feedback.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve escalated customer issues and service bottlenecks efficiently to maintain retention rates.
