Interview mode: 1st level (Telephonic) and Final level face to face at Malappuram office.
Job Summary:
To support category growth in the Modern Trade channel by coordinating sales activities, inventory planning, promotions, sell-out initiatives, and performance tracking. The role acts as the primary point of contact between the Category and Modern Trade teams to ensure achievement of sales and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support topline achievement of assigned categories in the Modern Trade channel.
• Coordinate with the MT Sales Head and Regional Managers for sales planning, inventory management, and stock availability.
• Liaise with Category Product Executives for price list management, promotional offers, and scheme implementation.
• Coordinate with the sell-out team to ensure achievement of sell-out targets across stores.
• Conduct market visits and interact with floor supervisors to understand consumer buying behavior, product trends, and competitor activities.
• Monitor In-Store Demonstrator (ISD) performance and follow up on incentive achievement and productivity.
• Conduct product training sessions for ISDs, focusing on product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
• Track SKU-wise performance and recommend actions to improve sales, visibility, and product movement.
• Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the Category Team and Modern Trade Team.
• Prepare weekly channel performance reports and provide insights on sales trends, stock movement, and promotional effectiveness.
• Support execution of category initiatives, product launches, and visibility programs within the MT channel.
Key Accountabilities- KRA (Key Result Area) (At least 4 Output / outcome against each job responsibilities)
• Drive category sales growth and support topline achievement in the Modern Trade channel.
• Ensure effective coordination between Category, Sales, and Sell-out teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor SKU performance, inventory availability, and promotional effectiveness.
• Enhance ISD productivity through training, performance monitoring, and incentive tracking.
KPI- (Key Performance Indicators) (At least 4 Performance Measurable Criteria against each KRA)
• Achievement of monthly/quarterly category sales targets in the MT channel.
• SKU availability (%) and stock-out reduction across MT stores.
• Sell-out target achievement (%) and promotional scheme effectiveness.
• ISD performance metrics, including sales contribution, training completion, and incentive achievement rates.
