Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

 Minimum 3 years in Quantity Surveying (Preference for candidates with high-rise buildings or apartments/flats experience)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to our building projects. In this role, you will minimise project expenses, maximise value for money, and ensure compliance with strict budget limits without compromising on quality or safety regulations.  

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare detailed bill of quantities (BOQ) from architectural and structural drawings.
• Conduct accurate material take-offs for concrete, steel, finishes, and MEP works.
• Establish structural cost estimates for ongoing high-rise construction phases.
• Monitor project budgets continuously to prevent cost overruns.

Tendering & Procurement

• Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparative cost statements.
• Assist in the selection and evaluation of subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Prepare and process tender and contract documents.

Site Progress & Valuation

• Conduct regular site visits in Kozhikode to verify work progress.
• Measure and value the work executed on-site for interim payments.
• Certify subcontractor bills and process monthly progress claims.
• Assess and negotiate financial variations or deviations from original plans.  

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain precise records of structural changes and material allocations.
• Prepare periodic cost reports for the project management team.
• Ensure all financial transactions align with construction laws and company policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven track record in residential flats, apartments, or high-rise structures.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS-related calculation software.
